The first batch of the Rafale fighter aircraft finally landed at the Ambala air base in Haryana on Wednesday to join the Indian Air Force, though a formal induction ceremony for the jets will be held later. Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria was in Ambala to welcome the Rafale jets. The aircraft landed at the Ambala Air Force base after covering a distance of 7,000 km from the Merignac airbase in French port city of Bordeaux.
