As Bihar battles the spiraling Covid-19 cases, India Today does a reality check that exposes Bihar’s lack of preparations. Patna’s biggest covid treatment centre at the Nalanda Medical College Hospital is full and patients seeking treatment here are being referred to the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH). Meanwhile, as the NMCH is runs out of beds, CM Nitish Kumar had announced setting up of a 100-bed Covid dedicated facility at the PMCH, which was to be fully functional 10 days back.
