Supreme Court has given its nod to JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG examinations saying that it cannot destroy full year of students. Notably, the apex court has dismissed pleas seeking postponement of JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG examinations — which are scheduled to be conducted in September amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The SC bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra announced the verdict. This episode of News Unlocked focuses on whether the students are happy with the SC decision?

  1. This was supposed to be addressed as soon as the verdict came out. Instead, the whole media platform was busy addressing the SSR death ‘mystery’ on one hand and political cat fight between two corrupt sides on the other.
The SC’s statement is so unworthy. They could have used the same and conducted the exam back in July or even in May when we had around 55,000 cases in total instead of 55,000 cases a day. Are the lives of students so unworthy ? Can a lame statement like that decide our fate? They always talk of ‘strictly’ following social distancing norm, something which practically never happened in India. I, being a candidate for NEET, oppose the decision henceforth.
