Addressing a press briefing on Covid-19, the health ministry claimed that the Covid-19 deaths are low in India in comparison to other nations. The Ministry also said the government’s aim is to first bring down the positivity rate to 10 per cent in areas that have high caseload, and then ultimately to 5 per cent.
